Instrumentation & Calibration Technician IV
The Instrumentation & Calibration Technician IV works independently to coordinate and facilitate calibration services on required equipment in support for production. They also report broken equipment and remove or deliver equipment.
Responsibilities- Follow safety procedures while working on equipment
- Coordinate with vendors for calibration activities
- Provide recalls as required to include facilitating calibration extensions as required
- Perform and arrange internal and external calibrations
- Maintain calibration records for accuracy
- Maintain MT&E through understanding of calibration procedures
- Prepare reports for non-conformances (out of tolerance) and corrective actions
- Train lower level calibration technicians
Experience:
- Minimum of six (6) years of experience in area of responsibility.
- Experience with calibration, ANSI Z540.1, ISO 17025
