(Shift hours:6:00am to 4:00pm or 4:00pm-2:00am: night differential)

CNC Machine Operator

Position Overview

Operate CNC Machine Operator and inspect finished parts.

CNC Machine Operator Necessary Education, Skills, and Competencies (including licensing and certifications):
  • Experience with lathe/mill turning machines or trade school CNC Machine Operator certificate.
  • Experience Using The Fanuc Control Preferred.
  • Working knowledge of various materials & tools (inserts, endmills, drills Etc.)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good communication skills and positive can-do attitude
  • Must be dependable and possess a willingness to learn new techniques.
  • mechanically inclined
  • Mechanical aptitude: A strong understanding of mechanical principles.
  • Attention to detail:
    The ability to work with tight tolerances where precision is critical.
  • Technical knowledge:
    The ability to read blueprints and specifications and basic knowledge of G-code programming or CAD/CAM software.
  • Problem-solving:
    The ability to troubleshoot issues and make necessary adjustments.
  • Safety consciousness:
    Adherence to all safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Teamwork:
    The ability to work collaboratively with other team members
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Verify components are produced to print (dimensional and visual inspection)
  • Change tools.
  • Make offsets.
  • Load material and remove scrap.
  • Fill out various paperwork.
  • Simultaneous operation of multiple machines
  • Minor troubleshooting
  • Part inspection
