The Clinical Professional Development Educator plays a vital role in educating and facilitating staff development within the organization. This position is ideal for experienced nursing professionals who are passionate about teaching and improving nursing practices.

• Assess learner characteristics including learning styles and needs for program development.
• Create an effective learning environment and evaluate outcomes of staff education.
• Implement a variety of teaching strategies tailored to learner characteristics and cultural perspectives.
• Maintain a visible clinical presence and adhere to regulatory standards.
• Advocate for nursing professional development programs that support learner and organizational needs.
• Engage in ethical decision‑making and facilitate group processes.
• Implement motivational strategies at individual, group, program, or organizational levels.
• Promote problem solving and interpret research in practice.
• Develop financial plans that allocate resources for educational programs.
• Design and implement evaluation plans for programs and projects.

• Education:
  
  Master’s degree in nursing required.
• Experience:
  
  4‑7 years of technical experience required.
• Experience:
  
  0‑2 years of leadership/management experience required.
• Licenses &
  
  Certifications:
  
  Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State and/or Connecticut required. Specialized certifications as needed.
