The Registered Nurse in the Recovery Room at Northwell Health is responsible for providing comprehensive patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who excel in critical care settings and are skilled in collaborating with healthcare teams.

• Location: Plainview, NY
• Facility: Northwell Health
• Schedule: Full-Time, Evening shift

• Assess the patient's physiologic health status.
• Conduct patient interviews and explain policies and procedures.
• Determine mobility, sensory deficits, and skin condition.
• Assess level of pain and pain management.
• Communicate and document patient's physiologic health status and plan of care.
• Elicit perception of medical/nursing care and expectations.
• Develop criteria for measurement of patient outcomes.
• Formulate the plan of care and establish priorities.
• Maintain constant vigilance over patient care to ensure safety.
• Administer medications correctly and safely.

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing;
  Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.

• 2 years Critical Care Experience preferred.

• Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS preferred.
