Retail Sales Associate Part Time

Job Summary

Assist with the day‑to‑day functions of a retail store, including visual merchandising, stocking, cashier duties, and building good customer relationships.

• Consult with retail sales associates at all levels to foster a positive work environment.
• Build relationships with customers from greeting through post‑sale contact.
• Assist with visual merchandising, setting up store‑related projects, and conducting merchandise stock counts.
• Handle the cash register and perform cashier responsibilities at the point of sale.
• Stand and walk for the majority of the shift, frequently bend, squat, twist, lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders to reach merchandise and supplies, and distinguish between fabric patterns and colors.

• Ability to work well and consult with retail sales associates at all levels.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, twist, lift up to 50 lbs., and climb ladders.
• Attention to detail in distinguishing fabric patterns and colors.

Pay Range: $18.00–$22.50 per hour. Salary determined by skills, background, experience, market location, and prevailing wage laws where applicable.
