Position Summary

The Branch Banking Client Consultant II‑Licensed is responsible for delivering an outstanding client experience by addressing concerns and providing product details focused on meeting clients' financial needs. The role involves client management and retention, introductions to key bank partners (Mortgage, Business Banking), and engagement in lending, investment interactions, and complex banking conversations.

Job Responsibilities
  • Sales Performance: Support team efforts to achieve growth targets in financial performance, including outstanding deposits, loans, and non‑interest income. Actively seek and deliver the right client introductions to achieve growth targets and execute successful sales initiatives.

    Experience:

    Provide a positive client experience by assisting with account questions, problems, and complaints and by resolving them in a timely and effective manner. Deliver client engagement and education. Meet behavioral activity goals defined by Retail Leadership, including Next Gen and marketing campaign lead calling, weekly appointments set, completed, and needs met.
  • Risk Management: Execute all sales, service, and banking transactions accurately and compliantly, striving for no controllable losses.
  • Additional Accountabilities: Perform moderately complex special projects and additional duties as required. Consistently adhere to regulatory and compliance policies and complete required trainings. Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Client Referrals: Demonstrate ability to attain sales and referral goals through preset appointments and quality conversations that lead to recommendations supporting clients’ financial goals, using phone and in‑person appointments. Engage in discovery‑based conversations and provide customized financial advice by referring to Financial Consultants.
Job Requirements
  • Required Qualifications:
  • High School / GED / HiSET / TASC or foreign equivalent.
  • 4–5 years of customer service and sales experience, including in the financial services industry.
  • National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation

  • Ability to train and mentor others on products and platform procedures.
  • Life and Health Insurance Licenses (required within the first 90 days; failure to pass or not attempting the exam leads to removal from the LBE program).
  • FINRA Security Industry Essentials (SIE) – required within 90 days of completing the Life & Health exam; failure to pass or not attempting leads to removal.
  • FINRA Series6 – required within 90 days of passing the SIE; failure to pass or not attempting leads to removal.
  • FINRA Series
    63 or Series
    66 – required within 90 days of passing Series

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the financial services industry.
  • Experience using and demonstrating digital products and self‑service technologies.
