Position Overview
College Heights Baptist Church in Plainview, Texas, has an immediate opening for a pastoral resident or associate minister. The role is suitable for a soon‑to‑be or recent college or seminary graduate, a pastor in transition, or an experienced minister seeking part‑time service before full retirement.
ResponsibilitiesThe primary responsibility is leading University Ministry. The position may be customized to include ministry involvement in Children’s, Youth, ESL/Bilingual, Music, Adult Education, Small Groups, and other areas based on the candidate’s gifting and passion. Sunday responsibilities plus approximately 20‑25 flexible hours a week.
CompensationA three‑bedroom parsonage in good condition and a utilities allowance. The candidate may work bi‑vocationally outside the church if desired.
QualificationsRecent or soon‑to‑be graduate of college or seminary, or experienced minister looking for part‑time ministry.
