Financial Advisor (Salaried — No Prospecting Required)

Location: Plainview, NY (On-site with up to 1 day WFH flexibility)

Compensation: $90,000 — $120,000 Base Salary + ~10% Discretionary Bonus

Talent Harbor has been retained by an established, rapidly growing independent wealth management firm based on Long Island to find their next Financial Advisor. Guided by a planning-first philosophy, our client firm partners with upper-middle-class families, young professionals, and pre-retirees across the New York metro area. They pride themselves on a collaborative, relationship-driven culture that prioritizes long-term, high-touch client guidance over high-pressure sales

We are seeking a warm, polished, and high-EQ Financial Advisor to service existing client relationships and lead warm prospective consultations.

Key Differentiator: Zero cold calling or business development required. All client leads and household handoffs are provided directly by the firm.

• Client Relationship Management: Inherit, service, and grow dedicated household relationships through annual reviews, planning updates, and ongoing check-ins.
• Consultations: Conduct warm prospect consultations (~1/week) generated through firm marketing, events, and client referrals.
• Financial Planning: Develop and present comprehensive financial plans utilizing eMoney software.

  Work closely in a 3-person pod model (Advisor, Paraplanner, Admin) to deliver high-touch service.

• Experience: 2–3+ years of experience in financial planning or wealth management.
• Credentials: Series 7 and Series 66 required (or ability to obtain upon hire). CFP® designation or active progress toward completion strongly preferred.
• Soft Skills: High emotional intelligence, humble, articulate, excellent listener, and zero “alpha” ego.
• Location: Based within a manageable commute to Plainview, NY.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree required.

• Base Salary: $90,000 — $120,000 (commensurate with experience)
• Target Bonus: ~10% discretionary annual performance bonus
