Position Summary
This part‑time pharmacist position involves ensuring accurate and secure handling of pharmacy orders, maintaining inventory, and adhering to all regulatory requirements. The pharmacist will also provide coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure accurate entry of orders.
- Maintain security of the pharmacy.
- Adhere to required delivery schedules.
- Verify orders entered by technician staff for accuracy.
- Check for completeness and precision of all new and refill labels and orders.
- Check for content and accuracy of all drug packaging and labeling.
- Prepare and/or supervise sterile IV drug products or solutions, if required.
- Assist in maintaining a perpetual inventory for Schedule II drugs.
- Apply knowledge of DEA and state law regarding controlled drug dispensing.
- Provide evening, weekend, and holiday coverage during scheduled rotation based on business needs.
- Follow all applicable state and government regulations, including HIPAA.
- Perform other duties as assigned (vary by location).
- Licensed pharmacist in the state of New York.
- Active license in good standing.
- Experience in Long Term Care pharmacy.
- IV certification or relevant experience.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy.

Pay Range: $60.58 – $101.54 per hour (based on experience, education, geography and other factors).
