Ultrasound Technologist - Vascular & Multispecialty
Location: Plainview, TX
Shift: Day Shift | 4x10s | 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM
Pay Rate: $72 -$76/hr (Depending on Experience)
Job Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist with strong multispecialty imaging skills to perform a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound procedures in a short-term acute care hospital setting. This role requires expertise across general, OB/GYN, vascular, and cardiac ultrasound modalities in a high-acuity clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform abdominal and pelvic ultrasound examinations
- Conduct OB and fetal imaging studies
- Perform transvaginal ultrasound procedures
- Complete breast imaging studies as required
- Perform vascular ultrasound studies, including arterial and venous exams
- Conduct echocardiography procedures (adult echo)
- Assist with contrast-enhanced echocardiography procedures
- Perform stress echo and treadmill echo studies
- Ensure high-quality imaging for diagnostic interpretation
- Maintain patient safety and comfort during all procedures
- Follow infection control and hospital imaging protocols
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and clinical teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records
- ARDMS certification (General or Vascular Technology) OR CCI RDCS certification
- Current BLS certification
- Strong competency in multiple ultrasound modalities including:
- General abdominal & pelvic imaging
- OB/GYN and fetal imaging
- Transvaginal ultrasound
- Breast imaging
- Vascular ultrasound (VT preferred)
- Adult echocardiography
- Contrast and stress echocardiography
- Ability to work independently in a high-acuity hospital environment
- Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills
