Multispecialty Ultrasound Technologist
The position requires expertise in a multispecialty environment. Candidates must have experience in general ultrasound, fetal ultrasound, obstetrics, breast, transvaginal, vascular, and echocardiogram procedures. Also required are skills in adult echo, contrast echo, and echo stress treadmill. On-call duty is required from 5 PM to 8 AM, Monday through Friday, as well as 24-hour coverage on weekends. Weekend shifts are included in the on-call requirements.
Successful candidates will assist in precepting clinicians in the unit. All referrals should indicate whether the candidate has worked in a similar capacity previously. References are required covering at least one year of experience within the last three years. Flexibility is essential, as travelers may float between similar facilities. Failure to float may result in termination of the assignment. Expected patient-to-staff ratios are 8:1.
This position involves working with a diverse patient age range including neonates, adolescents, infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
