American Traveler is seeking a Travel Cardiac Sonographer for a travel job in Plainview, Texas.

- Work setting is a short‑term acute care hospital with 49 staffed beds and a Level IV Trauma designation
- Multispecialty role covering general ultrasound, fetal ultrasound, OB, breast, transvaginal, vascular, echocardiogram, adult echo, contrast echo, and echo stress treadmill
- Patient ratio of 8:1
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- On‑call required:
Monday–Friday 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM, and 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday - No floating between units within this assignment; however, travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state
- Epic EMR experience required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a comparable multispecialty ultrasound/echo setting
- Demonstrated proficiency in general ultrasound, fetal ultrasound, OB, breast, transvaginal, vascular studies, echocardiogram, adult echo, contrast echo, and echo stress treadmill
- Active professional license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification required
- Epic EMR experience required
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- First‑time travelers will be considered for this position
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Travelers may be required to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; time off requests should be communicated prior to or at the time of submission, as post‑offer requests may be denied
- Scrub color for this role:
Navy Blue - Free parking is available in any unrestricted space
- 13‑week contract
American Traveler Job #P-710738. Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
