Avir at Plainview has an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) in Plainview, TX!
Pay starts at $46 an hour and increases based on experience.

OccupationalTherapist Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans to improve independence with daily living activities.
- Assess functional, cognitive, perceptual, and physical abilities to identify rehabilitation needs.
- Administer occupational therapy treatments designed to enhance strength, coordination, mobility, safety awareness, and overall function.
- Develop and implement programs that help residents achieve maximum independence in activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
- Recommend adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, and compensatory strategies to improve safety and independence.
- Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapy team members, residents, and families to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Provide education and training to residents, family members, and caregivers.
- Ensure all services are delivered in accordance with the established plan of care and regulatory requirements.
- Complete documentation accurately and timely in compliance with company, state, and federal guidelines.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning conferences.
- Active and unrestricted Texas Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- SNF/Long-Term Care experience preferred but not required.
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.
- Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
