Responsibilities
- Proficiency in general ultrasound, fetal ultrasound, OB, breast, transvaginal, vascular, echocardiogram, adult echo, contrast echo, and echo stress treadmill procedures.
- Assisting with precepting clinicians and on-call availability from 5pm to 8am Monday through Friday, and 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday.
- No floating between units or block schedules; expected patient ratio is 8:1.
- General ultrasound procedures
- Fetal ultrasound techniques
- OB and breast ultrasound expertise
- Transvaginal and vascular ultrasound skills
- Echocardiogram, adult echo, contrast echo, and echo stress treadmill experience
- Proficiency with GE and PACS equipment
- Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE
- Ability to perform transplant studies and procedures like paracentesis and ultrasound-guided biopsy/fine needle aspiration
- Minimum of 1 year of experience
- Certifications required: ARDMS, ARDMS RVT, BLS, CCI, or RDCS
- Experience with Epic charting system required
- Patient care experience with neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
