Associated Health Professionals (AHP), Inc., a Joint Commission Certified healthcare staffing agency, is seeking an experienced Echo Technologist (Cardiac Sonographer) with Ultra-Sound Tech experience to support the healthcare system in Plainview, TX.

    Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)
  • Pay: $70.00 Hourly
  • Multi-Specialty Position
    - Must have general ultrasound, fetal ultrasound, OB, Breast, Transvaginal, vascular, echocardiogram, adult echo, contrast echo, Echo stress treadmill experience

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic echocardiograms and obtain high-quality echo cardiographic images for physician interpretation
  • General Ultrasound procedures
  • Review patient history and verify examination orders prior to performing procedures
  • Prepare and position patients for echo cardiographic examinations
  • Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond appropriately to changes in condition
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, physicians, nurses, and the healthcare team
  • Accurately document studies and patient information in the electronic health record (EHR)
  • Ensure ultrasound equipment is properly maintained and functioning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to caring for Veteran patients
  • Maintain compliance with VA policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures
