We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Patient Transporter to join our team at Plainview Healthcare Center in Plainview, Texas, USA. As a Patient Transporter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and comfort of our patients as they receive medical care. This is a full-time opportunity for a dedicated and reliable individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport patients to and from various medical departments, such as radiology, laboratory, and surgical units, while maintaining a high level of patient satisfaction and comfort
• Provide wheelchair and stretcher assistance as needed, ensuring patients are safely secured and transported
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient transportation, ensuring timely and efficient care
• Perform vital sign checks and monitor patients' conditions during transport, reporting any changes or concerns to healthcare providers
• Maintain a clean and organized transportation area, ensuring a safe and sterile environment for patients
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to lift, push, or pull patients and equipment up to 50 pounds
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision
• Basic life support training preferred (CPR certification)
