This is a responsible professional position at the Bell County Jail in Belton, TX. Specific duties include testing,psychological evaluation, and diagnostic services, as well ascounseling an assigned patient caseload. This position function sunder the supervision of a higher-level licensed psychologist orpsychiatrist, but the individual has full professionalresponsibility for higher actions and advice.

• Mental health screening and assessment:
  Completes timely and clinically sound mental health screenings and assessments using approved tools.
• Manage patient caseload:
  Effectively manages an assignedcaseload by providing consistent clinical contact, monitoring progress, and updating treatment plans as needed.
• Facilitate counseling sessions:
  Facilitates individual andgroup therapy counseling sessions.
• Documentation:
  Completes all clinical documentation accurately and objectively.
• Crisis Intervention:
  Responds promptly and effectively tomental health crises.
• Other duties as assigned:
  Willingly performs all otherassignments as directed by the superior.
