Special requirements:
The assigned nurse must be able to function as a fully independent staff nurse with a standard patient ratio of 1:6. In addition, the nurse should be capable of assuming Charge Nurse responsibilities as needed and must be able to function in the charge role independently. Charge responsibilities encompass the entire Acute Care Services Department, including both the Medical Surgical (MS) unit and the adult ICU.
