Accountant, Financial Reporting, Accounting Manager

Overview

Manafort Brothers is seeking an accounting professional to support our CFO and Controller with day-to-day financial operations, monthly closings, analysis and preparation of internal and external financial reports. This position will prepare, record and review entries documenting daily accounting activity while assisting all company personnel in the continued advancement of Sage
300, Timber Scan and HCSS in the daily management of our projects. This role has extensive interaction with all accounting functions/staff (Cash Management, Billing, AP and Insurance). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is required to efficiently complete responsibilities.

• Assist with day-to-day financial operations, monthly closings, analysis and preparation of financial reports.
• Prepare, record and review accounting entries documenting daily activity.
• Support the implementation and use of Sage
  300, Timber Scan and HCSS in project management.
• Interact with all accounting functions and staff (Cash Management, Billing, Accounts Payable, Insurance).
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to complete responsibilities.

• B.S. in Accounting.
• 3-5 years of solid financial reporting experience.
• Previous construction accounting, Sage
  300 and/or report writing experience is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail.
