Accountant, Financial Reporting, Accounting Manager

Overview

Manafort Brothers is seeking an accounting professional to support our CFO and Controller with day-to-day financial operations, monthly closings, analysis, and preparation of internal and external financial reports. This role will prepare, record and review accounting entries and assist all company personnel in the continued use of Sage
300, Timber Scan, and HCSS in project management.

• Prepare, record and review daily accounting activity and assist with month-end close.
• Support interdepartmental accounting functions including Cash Management, Billing, Accounts Payable and Insurance.
• Assist in the ongoing implementation and optimization of Sage
  300, Timber Scan, and HCSS for project management.
• Interacts with accounting staff to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

• B.S. in Accounting or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of solid financial reporting experience.
• Experience with construction accounting, Sage
  300, and report writing is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to multitask with high attention to detail.
