Construction Accountant - Close, Reporting & SageExpert

Manafort Brothers is seeking an individual to fill an accounting position responsible for supporting our CFO and Controller with day-to-day financial operations, monthly closings, analysis and preparation of internal and external financial reports. This position will prepare, record and review entries documenting daily accounting activity while assisting all company personnel in the continued advancement of Sage
300, Timber Scan and HCSS in the daily management of our projects. This role has extensive interaction with all accounting functions/staff (Cash Management, Billing, AP and Insurance). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is required to efficiently complete responsibilities.

Candidate should have a B.S. in Accounting and 3-5 years of solid financial reporting experience. Previous construction accounting, Sage
300 and/or report writing experience is a plus. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to multitask while maintaining a strong attention to detail. The right candidate will have opportunity for advancement.
