This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Superintendent role based in Plainville, CT. The Assistant Superintendent will assist in managing on-site construction activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards. Responsibilities include supervising subcontractors and construction crews, maintaining safety protocols, tracking project progress, and communicating updates with stakeholders. The role requires effective problem-solving and decision‑making in a fast‑paced environment.

• Strong project coordination skills, including scheduling, resource allocation, and managing timelines
• Experience in supervising construction activities, managing subcontractors, and enforcing safety protocols
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and technical drawings
• Knowledge in construction management best practices and ensuring adherence to quality standards
• Excellent communication and leadership skills for collaboration with teams and stakeholders
• Problem‑solving aptitude to address on‑site challenges effectively
• Understanding of sustainable and innovative building practices is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field is preferred
• Relevant certifications such as OSHA or other safety credentials are beneficial
