The Elementary Tutor will collaborate with classroom teachers and instructional resource teachers to plan and implement instructional support for students. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate student records, monitoring academic progress, and participating in meetings and processes related to student growth and achievement. The position requires collaboration with multiple classroom teachers, excellent organizational skills, a sense of humor, and effective communication orally and in writing.

Bachelor's Degree required. Prior teaching experience or certification preferred. Candidates should have experience working with elementary school children, be knowledgeable about effective instructional strategies and assessment practices, demonstrate a strong commitment to community and student success, and be enthusiastic about teaching and learning.

Pay rates and benefits are per the Plainville Paraprofessional, Tutors, and RBTs CSEA/SEIU, Local 2001 contract.
