MIDDLE SCHOOL OF PLAINVILLE – MUSIC TEACHER – START OF SCHOOL YEAR
The Middle School of Plainville seeks to fill a full‑time position for a Music Teacher (General and Percussion Instructor). We are looking for a specialist capable of leading our progressive general music program while also supporting the MSP Band's percussion section. FTE 1.0 for the upcoming 2026‑27 school year. Salary range may be found in the Teachers Bargaining Agreement invilleschools.org.
Requirements: Must hold valid CT Certification (049).
Responsibilities- Teach Band/instrumental music.
- Teach general music.
- Direct large ensemble rehearsals.
- Work as part of a team, planning lessons together, monitoring progress, and making modifications to address the specific needs of all students.
- Valid CT Certification (049).
