Position Overview
Building Substitute Position – Middle School of Plainville. Assignment available daily for grades 6, 7, and 8. Substitute teachers must follow instructions and lesson plans left by the teacher and work with a variety of students, including those with special education needs.
Responsibilities- Follow teacher instructions and lesson plans for assigned units.
- Maintain classroom order and support students in lessons.
- Adapt instruction to meet the needs of students with diverse learning styles, including special education students.
- Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Reliable, positive attitude and strong communication skills.
- Versatile and flexible, able to work across grades, departments, and classes.
Daily rate $125.00; $150.00 for certified applicants.
