Middle School Of Plainville - Music Teacher
The Middle School of Plainville seeks to fill a full-time position for a Music Teacher (General and Percussion Instructor). We are looking for a specialist capable of leading our progressive general music program while also supporting the MSP Band's percussion section. (FTE 1.0) for the upcoming 2026-27 school year. Salary range may be found in the Teachers Bargaining Agreement located on our website.
Requirement:
Must hold valid CT Certification (049).
Responsibilities include teaching Band/instrumental music, teaching general music, and directing large ensemble rehearsals. The successful candidate will lead instrumental music instruction as well as general music. The successful candidate will effectively work as a member of a team, planning lessons together, monitoring progress and making modifications that meet the specific needs of all students.
