Summer School Teaching/Summer School Teacher - Special Education
The program will be held from 6/29/26 to 7/30/26, Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 to 12:30 (elementary); teacher hours will be 8:00 to 1:00, Monday through Thursday, from 7:30-11:30 (secondary), teacher hours will be 7:00-12:00. The stipend includes 2 additional days for planning and preparation of curriculum materials, as well as participation in any required organizational meetings as required by the Program Coordinator.
Responsibilities include development of student schedules aligned with current IEPs, provision of direct instruction based on student need, and supervision of instructional support staff to ensure students are able to engage in their special education services. Anticipated special education teacher positions are needed for the following programs:
Preschool, Elementary Developmental, Middle School Developmental, High School Developmental, Reading Specialist (elementary/secondary), Speech Pathologist. Stipend for all positions is $4402.20.
