• 12 hours per week
• 4pm-7pm, Monday through Thursday
• Rate: $36.38 per hour
Seeking a motivated, College and Career Readiness Transitions Tutor to support ABE/GED, ESL, and Adult High School students in achieving academic, workforce, and postsecondary goals. The successful candidate will cultivate partnerships with local employers, colleges, community agencies, and workforce organizations to expand work-based learning, internships, apprenticeships, and prioritize hiring opportunities.
Responsibilities include providing classroom and academic support; assisting students with career exploration, resume development, mock interviews, individualized transition-to-work plans, and connections to the American Job Center, workforce training, and postsecondary opportunities. Strong technology skills are essential, including proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, online learning platforms, career and workforce databases, virtual communication tools, and digital job search and application systems. Additional responsibilities include maintaining workforce resource materials, fulfilling Career Navigator duties, completing required trainings, conducting alumni outreach, and tracking student transitions and outcomes.
Bachelor's degree required; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
