Hours:

40-Coordinates and provides care for a group of patients spanning all age groups and cultures for a designated time frame using therapeutic means, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation and other health care team members while assuming responsibility and accountability for these patients.

Experience:

*** Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served
* Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development
* Able to assess and interpret data reflective of the client’s status
* Provides care outlined in standards, policies and procedures
* Specialized departmental training to provide care to patients within the role
* Successful completion of SMH orientation
* Command of verbal and written English
* Positive interpersonal communication skills
* Good organizational skills
* Operation of clinical equipment
* Demonstration of clinical competence
