Role Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled Guidewire Policy Center Technical Lead with strong hands-on expertise in Integration Gateway (IG), App Events, and Advanced Product Designer (APD) within the Guidewire Cloud environment. This role requires deep technical leadership, strong integration experience, and proven ability to deliver complex, cloud-based Guidewire implementations.

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Guidewire Policy Center, Integration Gateway (IG), and App Events.
• Lead end-to-end design and implementation of Policy Center solutions, including product modeling and system integrations.
• Provide technical leadership, code reviews, mentoring, and ensure high-quality delivery standards.
• Configure and customize:
  • Advanced Product Designer (APD)
  • Product Model, Rating, Underwriting Rules
  • Data Model, PCFs, Forms, and Code Generation
• Design and implement integrations using:
  • Integration Gateway (IG)
  • REST services
  • Messaging framework and plugins
• Implement event-driven integrations using App Events, including:
  • Event schema design
  • Error handling and resiliency patterns
• Support Guidewire Cloud Platform deployments, upgrades, and releases.
• Collaborate closely with architects, QA, Dev Ops, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
• Drive innovation, performance optimization, and reusable integration components.

• Integration Gateway (IG)
  • Hands-on mastery of Integration Gateway using Apache Camel.
  • Candidates without Apache Camel experience will not be considered.
• App Events
  • Proven experience as an App Events SME.
  • Hands-on implementation of event-driven architectures using recent Guidewire Cloud releases (Oulu, Niseko, or Las Leñas).
  • Strong experience in schema design and event error handling.
• Advanced Product Designer (APD)
  • Active APD user with hands-on experience generating:
    • Code
    • Entities
    • PCFs
  • Not limited to high-level product modeling—must be involved in actual generation and customization.
• Guidewire Core
  • Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire Policy Center Configuration & API Integration
  • Gosu development
  • Cloud Certification (Mandatory) – Current Guidewire Policy Center Cloud Version Certification.

• 8 years overall IT experience (preferred)
• 6 years hands-on Guidewire Policy Center experience
• 2–3 years experience as a Technical Lead

• Required:
  
  Guidewire Policy Center Configuration (Cloud Version)
• Preferred:
  Policy Center ACE, Integration ACE

• Java development experience, especially with Apache Camel Framework
• Technical architecture design experience
• CI/CD automation exposure
• Strong understanding of event-driven integration patterns
