Purpose of Position
Perform repetitive and/or standard assembly/calibration operations of moderate complexity.
Essential Functions- Under limited supervision, receive general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments following established procedures.
- Solve problems of moderate to high scope and complexity with team leader or supervisor assistance.
- Quality of work is verified by the assembler, and occasionally by another source.
- Make proper computer transactions to move product and work order through the system.
- Frequent contact with associates, supervisor and possibly engineering, sales, and production control requiring reporting and exchanging of information with interpretation, or expediting products.
- Support and potentially act as backup for team leader standard work.
- Complete and sign off on quality documentation for other associates or manufacturing cells as needed.
Education Required
High School diploma or equivalent preferred. (5 years of experience required in place of High School Diploma or GED.)
Experience Required
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an assembler and sound knowledge of related assembly practices, processes, policies and procedures.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience on assembly/test equipment including certification where appropriate.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience with relevant computer systems applicable to assembly related tasks and tracking.
Minimum of 1 year experience on troubleshooting assembly/calibration processes issues.
Other FunctionsMay be assigned various projects and responsibilities, at the sole discretion of the VP Global Operations and President.

The employee may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, vibrations, fumes, odors, dusts, gases, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures and work space restrictions.
The noise level in the work environment is occasionally (never/occasionally/frequently) loud.
Employees will be required to wear the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), which may include eye, hearing and respiratory protection, protective smock, steel toe shoes, gloves, hard hats, or face shields. Contact lenses may not be allowed in some areas.
The associate must also be willing and able to travel by all forms of transportation.
Pay RangeThe salary range for this position (in local currency) is 17.64 - 32.74.
