Job Duties & Responsibilities
* Build, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair progressive, compound, and transfer stamping dies to support production operations.
* Fabricate precision tooling components using manual machine tools, including mills, lathes, and grinders, while interpreting blueprints and GD&T specifications.
* Perform preventive maintenance, die setups, repairs, and modifications to improve tool performance, minimize downtime, and ensure part quality.
* Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to troubleshoot tooling issues, support die tryouts, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Required Skills & Experience
* Experience building, repairing, and maintaining progressive stamping dies in a manufacturing environment.
* Proficiency operating manual machining equipment, including mills, lathes, grinders, and precision measuring instruments.
* Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications with strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
* Commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and the ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing for extended periods and lifting as needed. Preferred Skills & Experience
* Experience with CNC machining equipment and CAD/CAM software.
