Commercial Account Executive

Overview

GoNetspeed is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to develop and close new revenue opportunities within Connecticut’s commercial and MDU segments. The role focuses on fiber‑based Internet products and involves evangelizing the product set, building referral networks, and strategically growing the sales funnel.

• Develop and execute sales plans to achieve assigned quotas.
• Conduct sales meetings with prospects and customers, presenting the GoNetspeed value proposition.
• Perform cold calling, follow up on marketing leads, and develop referral networks.
• Build, maintain, and communicate sales forecast and strategies to management.
• Generate leads through prospecting and networking in the business and building community.
• Cultivate strong relationships with decision makers and influencers within accounts.
• Attend IT and community networking events, seminars, and conferences.
• Act as primary point of contact for customers, providing high‑level service.
• Interface and communicate with cross‑functional teams including Engineering, Customer Service, Marketing, and Finance.

• 1‑2 years minimum of business‑to‑business and/or MDU sales experience.
• Knowledge of telecommunications, especially Internet Access service.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, listening, and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Ability to perform independently.
• Attention to detail and quality objectives.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.

Base Salary: $50,000-$60,000 PLUS Uncapped Commission. Total Target Compensation: $90,000-$110,000 per year.
