Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time, on-site Diesel Mechanic role based in Plainville, CT. The Diesel Mechanic will maintain and repair vehicles and heavy equipment, implement preventive maintenance schedules, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and ensure optimal performance of diesel engines and machinery. Daily tasks include diagnosing mechanical problems, performing routine inspections, and collaborating with the team to maintain safety and efficiency on the job site.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Vehicle Maintenance and Equipment Maintenance
- Experience in Diesel Mechanics and working with Heavy Equipment
- Knowledge and implementation of Preventive Maintenance practices
- Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently
- Possession of relevant certifications or technical training is a plus
