Cintas is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Apprentice for our Fire Protection business. This is a great opportunity for a candidate who would like to learn a trade in the Fire Protection industry. The position provides valuable work experience by working alongside a technician in the service, inspection, and repair of sprinkler systems. Our progressive training approach combines on‑the‑job training, online and classroom instruction.

The candidate will be paired with a qualified technician to provide on‑the‑job training. Cintas partners with outside vendors to provide additional instruction. Our progressive training program will provide the tools and certifications to convert to a qualified Fire Sprinkler Technician, wherein the job duties would include conducting service calls, system testing and inspections to the prescribed standards, performing on‑site emergency repairs of our customers’ sprinkler systems, and identifying non‑conformances to code.

• High School Diploma/GED
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience in the Fire Protection industry
• Experience with trades such as HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, or plumbing
