Beginning salary within the range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is just one component of our competitive Total Rewards package, which includes wellness programs designed to support our team members' financial, physical, and mental well-being. Responsibilities
  • Responsible for fostering a fun environment.
  • Responsible for being a gracious host to all guests and co-workers.
  • Responsible for promoting a positive influence in the community and participating in company-sponsored events.
  • Selling programs and racing forms.
  • Follow standards of neatness and cleanliness for the shop in order to maintain customer appeal.
  • Follow policies and procedures that affect inventory control.
  • Maintain product knowledge of gaming facility events, activities, and amenities around the facility to ensure personalized guest services.
  • Ensure interactions with internal and external guests, delivering exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Read, write legibly, understand and speak English.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word).
  • Must be licensed with The Massachusetts Racing Commission.
  • Excellent customer service/communication skills.
  • Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy.
  • Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues.
  • Able to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment.
  • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 50 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
