Asphalt Roller Operator - Experienced

• Operate the roller and other heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment
• Safely operate roller in successive overlapping passes over surfaces to be compacted, rolling asphalt to desired compaction and smoothness
• Participate and promote a team approach and maintain a positive and helpful attitude with team members
• Work in a safe and responsible manner

• High school diploma
• Driver's License with clean driving record
• OSHA
  10
• Medical DOT Card
• Prior experience operating equipment (roller, screw, compactor)
• Experience with up to 10lb ton
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow directions from Foreman and Supervisors
• A sound understanding of health and safety codes
• A positive outlook and a willingness to learn

• Pay Range: $30 - $45 per hour, Prevailing Wage Rate $75+ per hour
• Monday - Friday shifts start at 6AM, occasional nights and weekends required
• Snow removal required during winter months
