WHAT

ARE THE HOURS?

This is a full-time position requiring regular presence in the office and at project sites, with limited work-from-home flexibility. For planning purposes, please note that our office will be relocating to Fremont, NH later this year.

ASSISTANT CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER ROLE:

As an Assistant Construction Project Manager, you will work closely with the Project Manager, Drafter, and Superintendents to help keep projects organized and moving forward. You will spend much of your day transporting materials and miscellaneous items to job sites using a company vehicle, assisting with inventory management and organization at the warehouse, and supporting project documentation through submittals, logs, permits, and drawing files.

You will visit project sites to assist Superintendents with organizing trades, take deliveries at job sites and the warehouse, collect and file permits, track subcontractor permits, licenses, and safety documentation, and help draft billings. Throughout the day, you will review and format change requests, maintain accurate records, respond promptly to requests, and help ensure projects are completed on time while meeting quality standards and client expectations.

ASSISTANT

CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER REQUIREMENTS:
  • 3+ years of related experience
  • Professional phone and email etiquette
  • Strong English grammar and written communication skills
  • Ability to respond to requests within 24 hours
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to review and proofread work before submitting it
  • Ability to work closely with others in a small team environment
  • Willingness to help wherever needed to support project success
  • Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute
  • Ability to quickly learn cloud-based systems and processes
  • Fluent with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Windows Explorer
  • Ability to manage both office and field responsibilities
  • Ability to transport materials and miscellaneous items to job sites using a company vehicle
  • Ability to assist with warehouse inventory and material organization
