IN​/ED ISEP Paraeducator

This position is a full-time, 7 hours per day / 184 days per year.

The Para educator assists with the delivery of student support services in a broad spectrum of educational environments, including regular education and special education settings.

• Support student learning and support services in both regular and special education settings.
• Assist instructional staff with curriculum and instructional strategies.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement individualized education plans.
• Document student progress and data for instructional decision-making.
• Participate in professional development and instructional meetings.

• Complete a Bachelor's degree in Elementary or Middle Education, Special Education, or related field.
• Possess a valid special education teaching certificate or be in the process of obtaining one.
• Hold a current, valid state teaching license.
• Demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Show flexibility and a commitment to a positive, student-centered educational environment.

• Salary: $1.00 per hour differential.
• Bonus: $1,000 if one full school year is completed in the ED/IN position.
• Work: 190 days per year, 7.5 hours per day, may include extended school year (ESY).
