Early Childhood Assessment Facilitator/Teacher
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Professional Educators License required
2. ECSE Endorsement required
3. Knowledge of Early Intervention processes and preschool special education eligibility.
4. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
5. Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and community agencies.
6.
Experience with play-based assessment and early childhood IEP development preferred.
7. Others, as deemed necessary by the Board of Education or the Superintendent
REPORTS TO:
Principal, Director(s) for Academic Affairs
JOB GOALS:
The Early Childhood Assessment Facilitator coordinates and supports the transition of young children, including children from Early Intervention services, into preschool programming while also serving as a half-time preschool teacher. This role collaborates with families, service coordinators, and school teams to facilitate screenings, assessments, eligibility meetings, and IEP development, while providing high-quality instruction and support to preschool students in the classroom setting.
