Permanent Substitute Teacher

Substitute teacher at PH Miller School (PK-1st grade) for the remainder of the 2024-25 school year.

Qualifications:

Substitute teaching certificate required PEL, Type 03 or Type 04 preferred ESL preferred but not required. Successful candidate will be placed in a permanent substitute position at PH Miller School for the remainder of the school year. Pay is $140/day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction and supervision for students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher, following provided lesson plans and maintaining established classroom routines.
• Adapt to diverse classroom environments and grade levels.
• Collaborate with staff and administration to support students' academic and behavioral needs.
• Manage classroom behavior to create a safe and productive learning environment.
• Assist with non-teaching duties as needed, such as supervising transitions, lunch, and other common areas.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and administration to ensure instructional objectives are met.

Terms of Employment:
Full-time position for the remainder of the school year. $140/day Schedule follows the regular school calendar and hours.
