Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, and 0–3 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience using accounting systems
- Skilled in accurate, efficient high-volume data entry
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Education and Experience
- Experience with Oracle Enterprise One or SAP is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with any Accounting Software
- Knowledge of general accounting concepts
- Strong data entry skills with high volume processing capability
- Precise handling of financial records and transactions
- Journal Entries, Accruals, Month-end & Year-end close, Fixed Assets, and Various other financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft office (Outlook, MS Word, Excel, Power Point, SharePoint)
- Reliable to complete tasks by a target date and maintain a professional work ethic & demeanor in all interactions
- Knowledge of IFRS, internal control, SOP and sales tax is a plus
