LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a healthcare services company in Dallas to hire a Staff Accountant. This role centers around payroll accounting, labor cost reporting, and assisting with monthly close processes. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, solid Excel skills, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Post payroll entries including PTO, HSA, 401(k), and other benefit-related allocations.
• Reconcile bank activity and balance sheet accounts monthly.
• Pull and review payroll reports; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with labor variance analysis and contribute to monthly close tasks.
• Safeguard payroll data confidentiality and support audit prep as needed.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure accurate cost allocation and policy compliance.
• Jump in on special projects and ongoing process improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Clear communicator with a proactive mindset.
• Experience with ADP, Great Plains, or D365 is preferred but not required
• Mostly remote, lots of room for growth, full benefits plan
