Client Accounting Services Senior

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Client Accounting Services Senior to join our growing team. This role plays a key part in delivering high quality outsourced accounting services while serving as a trusted advisor to clients. The position requires strong technical accounting knowledge, client management skills, and the ability to lead and review work across multiple engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day to day client accounting operations including month end close, invoicing, payroll, and reconciliations.
• Serve as the primary accounting contact for assigned clients, building strong and responsive relationships.
• Oversee and review work prepared by junior team members, providing guidance and coaching as needed.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Identify process improvements and efficiency opportunities for both clients and internal workflows.
• Coordinate with clients to obtain required financial data and resolve accounting issues.
• Support clients with ongoing accounting questions and provide proactive insights and recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Five or more years of experience in client accounting services, outsourced accounting, or public accounting.
• Solid understanding of end to end accounting processes and close cycles.
• Proficiency with accounting software and tools; experience with OAS environments preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client focused mindset.
• CPA certification is preferred but not required.
