Tax Associate

Our client is a growth‑oriented CPA firm in Plano, TX with a fantastic culture! They're seeking a Tax Associate to support the preparation of business and individual tax returns. The ideal candidate is self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently while meeting clients and statutory deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

• Assist in preparing business and related individual tax returns
• Communicate with clients to gather required information, respond to questions, and ensure all internal and external deadlines are met
• Interact with peers, clients, and federal/state agencies regarding compliance matters and ongoing projects
• Apply and expand your tax knowledge while developing within the firm to become a key contributor to our processes and long‑term success

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• CPA license or active CPA candidate with 3+ years of federal tax preparation experience in a public accounting firm
• Experience with CCH Pro System FX/ Axcess Tax, Engagement, and Fixed Assets preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and internal teams
• Fast learner who works efficiently, asks questions proactively, and takes initiative
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and follow‑up requirements simultaneously
