Position Summary
General Accounting Data Processor (Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable) – Englewood Cliffs, N.J.
Samsung Electronics America, Inc. (SEA) is a leading U.S. subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., specializing in mobile technologies, consumer electronics, and enterprise solutions. We are seeking a highly detail‑oriented professional to manage high‑volume financial data entries and transactions within SAP, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Responsibilities- Perform AR and AP transaction processing, focusing on accuracy and timeliness.
- Execute and validate SAP data entry for payments, invoices, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Reconcile bank accounts and maintain the integrity of financial data throughout the project duration.
- Collaborate with client finance, treasury, and project teams to ensure operational stability.
- Identify, escalate, and resolve discrepancies or transactional issues.
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails in compliance with accounting policies.
- Minimum 5 years of related experience or 3 years with a Master’s degree, or a Ph.D. with no prior experience; a bachelor’s degree is required.
- Comprehensive understanding of specialized accounting areas and strong problem‑solving abilities.
- Experience with SAP data processing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Strong analytical, judgment, and communication skills.
