Staff Accountant

We're looking for a Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team  this role, you'll play a key part in our day-to-day accounting operations by supporting month-end close, accounts payable, and general ledger activities, while building a strong foundation across finance operations.

• Support full-cycle month-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Process accounts payable by reviewing and coding invoices to help ensure vendors are paid accurately and on time
• Facilitate vendor onboarding and manage contract and purchase-request intake
• Assist with year-end audit support and help maintain organized, audit-ready records
• Look for opportunities to streamline and improve our accounting processes

• 1–3 years of accounting experience (public accounting experience a plus)
• Solid understanding of core accounting principles (US GAAP)
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
• Experience with accounting systems - Quick Books Online experience a plus
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
• Comfort handling routine work while navigating occasional ambiguity
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• A genuine eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, supportive start-up environment
