Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are seeking a high-caliber Accounts Receivable Specialist to join the finance team of a rapidly growing, Private Equity-backed leader in sustainable industrial waste solutions. In this role, you will manage the full-cycle accounts receivable process for complex waste management projects, including industrial reclamation, recycling, and environmental services. You will play a critical role in optimizing cash flow, maintaining audit-ready financial records, and supporting the rigorous reporting standards required in a PE-backed environment.

Previous experience working with Netsuite is required.

• Full-Cycle AR Management:Oversee all invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliations using
  Net Suite
  , ensuring accuracy for high-volume industrial accounts.
• Revenue Cycle Support:Partner with operations to verify service documentation for industrial waste streams, ensuring billing aligns with complex contract terms and environmental service agreements.
• PE-Level Reporting:Prepare weekly and monthly aging reports and variance analyses for leadership; provide detailed documentation to support external audits and ensure
  SOX/GAAP compliance

• Strategic Collections:Proactively manage a high-value portfolio of industrial and commercial accounts. Utilize professional "soft" collection techniques to reduce
  Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)while maintainingstrongcustomer partnerships.
• Dispute Resolution:Research and resolve complex billing discrepancies, including PO mismatches, short-payments, and unapplied cash, collaborating with sales and field operations as needed.
• General Ledger Accuracy:Prepare AR-related journal entries, perform bank reconciliations, and assist with month-end closing activities to ensure 100% financial data integrity.
• Process Optimization:Identify opportunities to automate workflows and improve the efficiency of the cash application process within a high-growth environment.
