đ Role Responsibilities- Diagnose & Plan Repairs:
Examine vehicles, identify issues, and outline repair plans in coordination with the Service Advisor. Provide accurate labor time and parts estimates. - Perform Complex Repairs:
Repair and replace major systems including engines, steering, suspension, brakes, airâconditioning, and warrantyârelated components according to required specifications. - Conduct Road Tests:
Verify repair quality by performing road tests and ensuring all work aligns with customer, manufacturer, and company standards. - Handle Routine Maintenance:
Complete preventative maintenance tasks to promote longâterm vehicle performance and reliability. - Stay Current on Technology:
Attend factoryâsponsored training to remain informed on new automotive technologies, tools, and industry trends.
- Prior Automotive Technician experience and personal tools are REQUIRED (compensation based on experience).
- GM Certified Technician required.
- Ability to read and interpret safety regulations, technical manuals, and procedural documentation.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
- Consistent use of safety equipment and maintenance of a clean, organized workspace.
