Automotive Service Technician

Huffines Auto Dealerships is hiring experienced Automotive Service Technicians to join our growing service teams in McKinney, Plano, Lewisville, and Corinth.

The Huffines Service Technician is a subject matter expert who utilizes experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain customer vehicles. They help customer satisfaction by providing accurate, consistent, and timely services, using industry‑standard shop equipment and tools to perform repair work and document repair orders and recommendations.

• Diagnoses issues based on experience, analysis, and testing.
• Performs routine service inspections or tests and completes standard maintenance jobs.
• Repairs automobiles and light trucks as assigned.
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicles while performing service or repairs.
• Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards.
• Helps maintain shop appearance and safety standards.
• Ensures the shop runs efficiently by performing duties such as inventory stocking and other general functions as needed.
• Follows all shop policy, procedure, safety, and environmental rules.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Minimum 2 years of automotive technician experience.
• Verifiable technical performance record.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated ability to work well with others and be a team player.
• Results‑oriented self‑starter.
• Unrestricted driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to delivering world‑class customer service.
• Demonstrated desire to learn new processes and adapt quickly.
• Some post‑secondary automotive training (preferred).
• Proficiency in computer skills.
